Checkout Beautiful pictures of new Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin, Edo state. The stadium was named after the two-time Governor of the old Bendel State, Dr. Samuel Ogbemudia, it has a seating capacity of 20,000 spectators with a good parking space.
The pitch is an artificial FIFA approved turf with synthetic grasses and race courses. It also have pools as well a recreational space. But its most impressive feature is the fact that the stadium makes Edo state the fist and only stadium in Nigeria with the Video Assistant Referee (VAR).

The president of the Nigeria Football federation(NFF) Amaju Pinnick couldn’t stop expressing how elated he was when he last visited the stadium. He simply described it as ‘a world class edifice’.
