Heisman high school scholarship winners {APPLY NOW}

The Heisman Trophy Trust announced the 2022 Heisman High School Scholarship winners today. We congratulate seniors Lucie Ashkettle and Carter Munion-Nickel for being named Valley High School School Winners.
More than 5,700 high school scholar-athletes have been designated School Winners in The Heisman Trophy Trust’s Heisman High School Scholarship competition from an applicant pool of thousands of high school scholar-athletes graduating with the class of 2023.
School Winners will advance to become State Winners, National Finalists, or National Winners. State winners receive $1,000 in college scholarships, National finalists receive $2,000 in college scholarships, and male and female National winners each receive $10,000 in college scholarships.
What is Heisman scholarship program?
High School Scholarship in 1994. Since its inception, the program has capitalized on the Heisman Memorial Trophy’s reputation as a symbol of extraordinary ability mixed with diligence, perseverance, and hard work.
The Heisman High School Scholarship program extends the Heisman legacy to the nation’s most illustrious high school seniors by recognizing and rewarding outstanding male and female scholar-athletes who recognize that the most important victories occur not only on the field but also in their schools and communities.

Over the past 28 years, the program has honored over 600,000 of the nation’s most distinguished high school seniors and awarded hundreds of thousands of dollars in college scholarships.

The program acknowledges and rewards high school seniors, both male and female.

Every institution has a winner, and awards range from $1,000 to $10,000.

Heisman scholarship requirement
The 2023 graduating class
• Have a cumulative weighted GPA of 3.0 or above • Participate or have participated in at least one of the following activities in grades 9, 10, and 11
Baseball, Basketball, BMX Racing (Freestyle), Bowling, Boxing, Cross Country, Cycling, Dance, Diving, Equestrian, Football, Golf, Gymnastics, Ice Hockey, Ice Skating, Judo, Karate, Lacrosse, Mountain Bike, Powerlifting, Shooting, Skateboarding, Skiing, Snowboarding, Soccer, Softball, Spirit/Cheerleading, Swimming, Taekwondo, Tennis, Track & Field, Volleyball, Water Polo· Serve as a role model for underclassmen by being a leader in school and in the community.
