As the Novel Virus keep hiting Nigeria hard, let take a look on How Lagos records highest COVID-19 deaths within 2 days, According to NCDC Lagos State has recorded 17 COVID-19 related deaths in two-days this month of June.
The recent deaths had increased the infection mortality in the State to 67 and highest in Nigeria with Kano state Behind.
Recall that the State had announced nine COVID-19 deaths on June 1st, however, it confirmed another eight on Tuesday.
The State Commissioner for Health, Akin Abayomi, who made the disclosure, also stated that the State has 4191 active COVID-19 cases, while 875 patients have been discharged.
He, however, did not give additional information about the sex, age, nationality or medical conditions of the deceased.

It noted that the advice was necessary because places of worship have been recognised as a major avenue of potential spread of Coronavirus.
