Panic as one of the daughters of the governor of Delta state, Ifeanyi Okowa, has tested positive for the novel coronavirus pandemic. This latest news was today 26th june 2020, through Governor ifeanyi Okowa social media handle which ” Ifeanyi Okowa’s daughter tests positive ”

Governor Okowa said he and his family would go into isolation for 14 days in line with the laid down procedures of Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), adding that the public would be updated about the development.

He tweeted: “Earlier today, Edith and I received the news that one of our daughters has tested positive for #COVID19. Hence, in-line with the laid out procedures, we are both going into isolation for the next 14-days. We will continue to keep you all updated.”
