Don Jazzy founded Mavins Record on the 8th of May, 2012. The label record was inspired by the closure of the Mo’hits records which was owned by veteran musician, D’banj.

Though most record label bosses might celebrate their anniversary with a lavish party or a giveaway, Don Jazzy marked the Mavin REcords with a free trip down memory lane.
