Obaseki holds Closed-door meeting

The embattled Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki holds Closed-door meeting today with the Governor of Akwa Ibom state and PDP chieftain, Emmanuel Udom, shortly after meeting Rivers state Governor, Nyesom Wike on Sunday at the River state Government house.

However, the agenda of the meeting with the PDP governors were undisclosed and were not revealed to the public but Obaseki is believed to be on consultations with them to possibly join the party in order to contest for a second term.

The APC screening committee disqualified Obaseki over his inability to sort out discrepancies in his HSC and NYSC certificates.
