Rangers striker Kemar Roofe sent off for SHOCKING challenge with blood pouring from Slavia Prague goalkeeper’s head

Kemar Roofe was sent off for Rangers against Slavia Prague for one of the worst tackles in recent times.

Just seven minutes after coming on as a substitute, Roofe was making his way back off after his high tackle on Ondrej Kolar left blood pouring from the goalkeeper’s head.

Chasing a long Goldson pass, Roofe lunged forward with a high boot that flew into the keeper’s face and referee Orel Grinfeld immediately flashed red.

Things got even worse on 73 minutes as Leon Balogun also got his marching orders as he followed up his booking for a first-half foul on Lukas Provod with another after crunching into Jan Boril.
The Scottish Premiership champions’ remarkable run was all but killed off as Nicolae Stanciu swept home a stunning free-kick to make it 2-0 on the night.
