See Why No Country Wants To Go To War with China
China is a very great nation. They are an emerging global super power and represent everything that a country should be if the leaders overseeing the affairs of that country are doing things the right way. In a bid to maintain their status as one of the major world powers and also further their interest and agendas, China has some diplomatic issues with some other nations, both in the past and in recent times.
But despite these occasional conflicts which are often later resolved amicably, no country has seriously considered entering into a major conflict with China. This is due to several reasons and this article is going to show you 3 good reasons why no country wants to go to war with China.
1. The Chinese Economy: This is the biggest single reason why no country wants to go to war with China. China’s economy has been growing at an insane pace for many years now. In fact, it has been the fastest growing economy in the world for several years. The Chinese economy is Number 1 in terms of Purchasing Power Parity (PPP) and Number 2 in terms of nominal GDP.
Many big industries or corporations have factories located in China for carrying out production at a cheaper rate due to the wonderful ease of doing business in China coupled with cheaper labour costs. These companies are part of the major contributors to the economy of their parent nation and going to war with China will seriously hurt this important source of revenue.

China also serves as the biggest manufacturer and exporter of many products and going to War with them will lead to massive scarcity all around the world. Apart from being a major exporter, with a population of over 1 billion people, China itself is a huge market for the global economy and the truth is that it will be difficult for any country to do away with this huge market.
2. The Chinese Military: The Chinese military is by far the largest in the world. Not only that, it is also rated to be among the best in the world and their technology has continued to improve. China has proven to be capable of producing the most advanced military hardware ranging from small arms to battle tanks, fighter jets, futuristic naval vessels and submarines.
In terms of naval power, the Chinese are second only to the United States of America and at the rate at which they are developing more advanced naval vessels, it would not be farfetched to assume that they may rival or even surpass the United States navy in the nearest future.
The Chinese military also has nuclear capabilities which is the biggest deterrent any country’s military can possess. For the above reason, it would be a lose lose situation for any nation who decides to ride to a full scale war with China.
3. The Chinese Allies: Apart from being highly militarily and economically advanced and efficient, China also has as allies or potential allies – countries that can never be trifled with.
They have the Russians who always sides them in the United Nations (UN) Security Council, they also have Iran, Pakistan and several others both in Europe and in the Caribbean who are reliable and ever ready to lend a helping hand in the event of any serious escalation.
No country wants to go to war with China if they would also have to face off with other powerful nations both militarily and economically.
In the world today, unfolding events have shown that being a powerful nation does not just involve being economically sound. A country must also have military might to protect their territorial integrity or to formulate and enforce regional or global policies and also have reliable allies who are powerful.
China has all these and these form the major reasons why no country will want to go to war with them no matter what. At the end of the day, every issue would have to be settled on the diplomatic table and China will often have an upper hand in these negotiations.
