Ex premier league champions Liverpool take on AC Milan in the Champions League later on, having won all five of their group matches this season so far. Get the three points in the San Siro, and they will become the first English team to have a 100 per cent record in group games.

We asked Liverpool fan Morgan O’Sullivan a few questions about the Reds ahead of the clash.

Belgium star Divock Origi was the Liverpool matchwinner on Saturday with yet another late strike, this time against Wolves. Be honest… did you think it was set to be another two points dropped?

Too often this year it has felt that we drop points when our rivals also drop points. We fail to capitalise when we should be well ahead. The Chelsea result against West Ham and last week has shown that any early coronation by the media should be ignored.

Divock Origi was on hand to fire home in stoppage time at Molineux, clinching a 1-0 win to send Liverpool second in the Premier League.

Now in midweek, attention turns towards European action, although not too much in the Reds’ case given that they have comfortably claimed top spot in the group already.

Porto, their nearest challengers, sit a full 10 points behind with just one game to play, while Milan and Atletico Madrid are still in contention for the second spot.
