Watch Arsenal vs Slavia Prague

Arsenal return to the Europa League action on Thursday to host the competition surprise package Slavia Prague. The Czech Republic club have already eliminated two British clubs in Leicester City and Rangers.

Arsenal trio Granit Xhaka, Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe are all back in training following injury, although Kieran Tierney and David Luiz are both ruled out.

Ondrej Kudela has been suspended as UEFA investigate his alleged racist abuse of Rangers’ Glen Kamara, while Ondrej Kolar and David Hovorka are both injured and Ibrahim Traore doubtful.

The winner of the two-legged tie will face either Villarreal or Dinamo Zagreb in the Europa League semifinals later this month.

7* – Decent build-up play from Slavia, with Nicolae Stanciu earning a corner as he tries to chip the ball over Hector Bellerin.

9* – Saka shows good awareness and invention to try and pick out the run of Lacazette in behind, but his pass was always curling away from the French striker and Kolar rushes out to collect.

13* – Arsenal search again for an opening as Bellerin rushes onto Saka’s pass and the Spaniard’s low cross is turned away by David Zima.

18* – Slavia attack after a brilliant switch of play from Lukas Provod, who finds Alexander Bah in plenty of space down that right-hand side.

Bellerin vitally gets his head to a cross instead of Peter Olayinka and Provod then drives an impressive effort narrowly over the crossbar.

22* – Bellerin releases Saka down the Arsenal right and Bah manages to flick away the cross intended for Willian at the back post.

25* – Stanciu is down for Slavia and clutching his jaw after receiving an accidental arm across the face from Smith Rowe as the duo competed in an aerial duel.

31* – Saka races through after latching onto a fine through ball from Holding into the right channel, but ends up bending his shot wide of the far post.

36* – Bernd Leno is called into action for the first time tonight 10 minutes before half-time, getting his body behind a tame attempt from Olayinka, who is put under pressure by Holding.

40* – Holding shows great strength and somehow manages to generate impressive power on a header following Cedric’s looping cross, with Kolar springing into action to tip the ball over the bar.

43* – Lacazette releases Saka, with the latter then seeing his cross blocked by Boril as he attempted to cut back for Smith Rowe.
