Unsurprisingly, there are 11 changes from the team that started Sunday’s 2-0 defeat to Tottenham.

Defender Calum Chambers makes his first start in over a year, having made his return last week after recovering from a cruciate ligament and making

Midfielder Emile Smith Rowe also makes his first start of the campaign while goalkeeper Alex Runarsson is between the sticks for the third Europa League game in a row.

Flores wins the ball back for the hosts well up the pitch, and rifles an effort across goal and past Runarsson.

30* – Mustafi picks out Maitland-Niles with a brilliant cross-field pass.

Maitland-Niles takes it down expertly, but Hoare pokes the ball away from the Arsenal man and it bounces off him for a Dundalk throw in.

34* –  Half an hour gone at the Aviva and Dundalk have done well to drag themselves back into this game after going 2-0 down.

36* – Pablo Mari and Maitland-Niles aren’t on the same page, as Mari plays the ball directly out of play as he tries to pick out his Arsenal team mate

38* – Cedric fancies his chances from range as nobody closes him down.

He fires away an effort that bounces just before reaching the goal, which Rogers does well to tip around the post for a corner.

44* – Leahy heads the ball away at the front post to clear the danger for the hosts.

45* – Smith-Rowe nicks the ball away from Hoare in a strong position for Arsenal.

The referee thinks he does so illegally and blows for a foul.

Emile Smith-Rowe is not happy with that decision.

It’s over! The referee blows for half time

62* –Elneny is off for Ceballos, and Nketiah is off for Balogun.

Nketiah doesn’t look best pleased to be coming off.

68* –The ball is played into Balogun in the box.

The young striker does well to hold the ball up and keep it away from the defender.

He plays it into the path of Willock, who takes a touch and fires the ball past Rogers from twelve yards.

Arsenal restore their two goal lead.

70* –Dundalk yellow card.

Cleary is booked for taking out Smith-Rowe after the winger had cleverly knocked the ball past him.

80* –Pepe rolls the ball into the path of Balogun, who finishes expertly past Rogers for his second Europa League goal off the bench.

Balogun was also on the scoresheet in the victory against Molde.

Arsenal stretch their lead to three goals in Dublin.

83* –Cedric whips in an inviting cross towards Balogun in the box.

Balogun is the only man in there for Arsenal, and it flies agonisingly close, but over the head of the striker.

90*” –Arsenal overcome Dundalk 4-2 to secure qualification from Group B as winners after six wins from six.

Dundalk gave a good account of themselves tonight, but finish their Europa League campaign without registering a point.
