1* – the kick off is here

8* – Arsenal’s goal may have come down the right but Gabriel Martinelli is getting plenty of joy down the left.

Josh Murphy is playing right wing back and the fact that he is not a natural right winger is really showing as the Brazilian has him on toast.

15* –Martinelli again does well and drives to the by-line past Josh Murphy with ease.

He cuts it back to Aubameyang but the angle is just a bit too tight for the Gunners skipper for fires it just wide of the post.

20* – Speak of the devil Saint-Maximin nearly has it in the net as his strike deflects off Xhaka into the ground from the edge of the box nearly bounces over Mat Ryan.

27* – This is a good little spell of possession for Newcastle who are growing into the game without really creating too many problems for Arsenal.

34* – Martinelli is found well by David Luiz on the left wing again.

The 19-year-old sees Ceballos in the middle but takes too long before providing a lofted cut back that is too high for the Spaniard to volley but too low for him to head. Waste of a good chance for the Gunners.

36* –Arsenal are getting a lot of joy from set pieces here.

It’s so close for Aubameyang who is about to get on the end of David Luiz’s flick on before Callum Willson intervenes to hook it away from another corner.

42* – Arsenal is trying to create something here

45* – Two minutes stoppage time here at the end of the first half

48* – Newcastle are back out too and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang gets us underway

51* – Gabriel and Mat Ryan get in a bit of a mix up as the Brazilian thinks his keeper is coming to collect but Ryan has already retreated to his line.

53* – From the replays it looks as though Luiz has tweaked his left hamstring.

The Brazilian is devastated and is consoled by both Aubameyang and Xhaka before being replaced by Chambers

58* – Arsenal look a bit less in control than in the first half now Luiz has gone off and Newcastle are trying more.

63* – Arsenal get a free kick on the edge of the box and it’s crossed in by Martin Odegaard.

66* – GOAL… Aubameyang’s got his goal for the Gunners.

71* –As Newcastle go forward in search of a goal Arsenal look to counter with Aubameyang who feeds it out to Odegaard.

The Spaniard plays in Bellerin who’s shot is blocked and goes out for a corner.

74* – Nicolas Pepe is set to come in for the Gunners any minute.

77* – And it’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who comes off for the Ivorian. A good days work for the Arsenal skipper who will now surely start on Thursday against Villarreal.

85* – Martin Odegaard is replaced by Thomas Partey for the last knocking of this one.

90* – After a short VAR check the red card is upheld. Martinelli thankfully is back up and running.
