During the early house of yesterday Monday 9th August 2021, two transport bus belong to Zebra transport company coming from Umuahaia was burnt beyond recognition with driver reportedly killed when the unknown armed men attacked the bus around Mbaise area of Imo state.

The same scenario happened in Nnewi Area command Area Umudim, Anambra state. When unknown gunmen engage in 30 minutes shootout with police officers on duty who later flee for their lives before a reinforce team of the Nigeria Army arrived to chase the hoodlums away.
Ipob sit at home
There was a total complaint in the five southeasts of Nigeria, especially Anambra and Abia, where the commercial activities went off and turned into a ghost town. Three people were reportedly killed at the Nnewi roundabout.
The spokesperson of Anambra State Police Command, DSP Toochukwu Ikenga, who spoke to the press, said:
“Yes, I’m aware of the incident in Nnewi today, but I do not have the details. We are still collating details, and I will inform you later.”
Meanwhile, major and minor cities in Anambra State, including Awka, Onitsha, Nnewi, Ekwulobia, and others, were shut down, in compliance with the directive of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
